Developing strong cravings

I've noticed something that's happening after days of stuffing myself full of fast food. When I try to take a bit of a break from it, I get the strong urge to get some. Like today, on my drive home from work I was hungry, and it took an absurd amount of willpower to not take a detour to get more McDonald's. Honestly, I might go out in a few to get some lol.

Is this something else other people have dealt with before? I imagine this is how people end up not being able to stop gaining.

In fairness, you did go out of your way to develop a fast food addiction.

Fair point lol. I went out after I got home and stopped by McDonald's and Wawa. Got A McCrispy chicken sandwich, a large fry and a large Caramel Oreo Shake (2500+ calories total) putting me at somewhere between 5000 and 6000 calories today.

Once a glutton always a glutton takes a lot of work to get out of those habits.

Maybe related, but on days Iā€™m not overeating I get a headache and have low energy. I need to stuff myself with fatty and sugary foods.

Honestly, it's kind of exciting that the initial intentional stuffings are sometimes turning into genuine cravings and it feels so good to give in and satisfy the cravings. Honestly a part of me is still slightly worried about gaining and not being able to stop, but I find myself worrying less and less about it and I've even had the thought to keep gaining after the 30 day challenge is over and continue to satisfy my cravings and expand them until my next doctor's appointment in November šŸ˜…

It's all about balance. Of course, it will take a little time to find your balance. But the end goal should be indulging your cravings without screwing up your health so much that you have to stop. The last thing any gainer wants is to gain a mere 40 lbs and get too sick to continue.

These are withdrawal symptoms. One of the reasons losing weight or eating healthy is so hard is because sugar and fat are addicting.

That said, it is possible to find your balance. That way you don't feel sick when you aren't constantly eating sugary fatty foods.

That's very true. It's part of why on days where I feel like I've overdone it, I try to eat a bit healthier (which I do, but I still end up sneaking a few treats in to push myself over the typical recommended calorie count for the average person). Like today I'm definitely not downing almost 3000 calories worth of shake like I did yesterday with my 1500 calories dinner, but I did end up having 4 Minibons with a mostly healthy rest of the day (pushing my overall calorie count to about 2500 on a day where I wasn't trying to gain).

That's all you can really do. Like my partner says, you have one life and one health. Enjoy your life to the fullest, but don't neglect yourself either.

A lot of feedists throw themselves headfirst into kink at the expense of all else. When that happens, it's a struggle to enjoy your kink.

Of course, balance is going to look a bit different from person to person. We are all individuals. But it's still imperative to find a way to live the rest of your life while enjoying your gaining journey.
